Yard Sale Saturday!!!
Bargain Hunters and Donations Wanted! Holy Comforter will host a Pilgrimage Yard Sale benefitting our youth programs on May 19th starting at 7 a.m. Please consider donating gently used household items and children’s clothing. Donations can be dropped off at the church on Wednesday May 16th 5:30-7:30 p.m. Contact Jake at jakep@holycomfortercharlotte.org for more information or to arrange a more convenient drop-off time.

Free Author Event May 20th
Join your friends to hear nationally known author and commentator Diana Butler Bass speak about trends in religion and spirituality today from her new book, CHRISTIANITY AFTER RELIGION: The End of the Church and the Birth of a New Spiritual Awakening. She will be at Thompson Child and Family Focus, Clanton Rd Campus, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Ms. Butler Bass’s appearance is sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina.

Happy birthday to us! Pentecost Picnic on May 27!
Mark your calendars for Holy Comforter’s legendary Pentecost Celebration on May 27th. We will start the day with a single, bilingual Eucharist and celebration of Holy Baptism at 11 a.m. followed by our parish picnic. If your last name begins with A-P, please bring a side to share. If your lsat name begins with Q-Z, please bring a dessert. Please note the service time change and that there will be no 8:00 a.m. or 5 p.m. service on Pentecost.
